Avery Elle Hoppy Easter Card + Tag Duo

Posted by Cassie Trask on

Hello friends! It’s Cassie back with another tutorial, and today I’m making a card and tag duo using the Hoppy Easter stamp set & matching die from the latest Avery Elle release.

1.Stamp the bunny 2 times, the flower 3 times, and the heart once onto some Copic friendly cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Color your images.

2.Stamp the bunny again onto your main card panel that measures 4” x 5 ¼”. Stamp the grass around your bunny.

3.Color your grass, and then color around your bunny using some light blue Copics. Don’t worry about being careful with the lines around the bunny. He was only meant to be a guide, so he’s going to get covered up later.

4.With all of your images colored, using the matching die on your first piece of cardstock cut out the 2 bunnies, the flowers, and the heart.

5.Now cut one more bunny and two more hearts out of your cardstock (and no, these ones weren’t stamped so they are just white die cuts)

6.Stamp your sentiment onto your card panel.

7.Place some foam adhesive behind one of your colored bunnies and attach him to your card panel over the uncolored bunny.

8.Attach your heart and flowers to the panel using some liquid adhesive. Attach this to your card base.

9.To make your tag you’ll glue the two heart die cuts together, and then attach them upside down to the back of the bunny. Be sure to leave the bottom portion of the heart sticking out.

10.Now attach this to the unstamped die cut bunny. This will give you a sturdier tag and a place to write on the back for your recipient.

11.Punch a hole in the heart piece that is sticking out of the bunny, and then attach your twine.

12.Use shimmer pen to add some glitter and shine to the heart and eggs.

I hope that helps you! If you’re a visual learner, like myself, there is a video for this on the YouTube channel that you won’t want to miss. I hope this inspires you to want to get hopping on your Easter projects ;)

    Thanks for stopping by!
