Christmas Gift Tags

Hello! It’s Mindy from My Creative Scoop and I’m so excited to be a part of the ScrapbookPal.com Design Team!! I’ve been card-making for going on 13 years! My favorite part is coloring with my Copic Markers – I just love to bring a stamped image to life. I live in Southern California with my hubby and our 3 kids, Ralphy 20, Belle 17 and Katie 12. I’m fortunate enough to have made my hobby a full-time business where I teach online and local Copic classes. Today I’m sharing a set of Lawn Fawn Tags, but I’m going to be walking you through how to create the Santa one. I’m going to show you I colored Santa using my Copic Markers, too!

Step 1. Color and cut your images.

Step 2. Cut out 2 white ornaments and one ornament topper using white cardstock.

Step 3. Cut out a mountain set from brown or grey cardstock. Also, cut the snow caps for the mountains using white cardstock.

Step 4. Cut the mountain die using the ornament die so the mountain fits in the center of the ornament.

Step 5. Take one of your white ornaments and sponge the Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink from the topper going lighter towards the bottom using your Picket Fence Blender Brushes.

Step 6. Trim your 2^nd white ornament to look like a snowy hill just below the mountains.

Step 7. Adhere the layered snowy scene of the ornament.

Step 8. Attach your Lawn Fawn images using pop dots.

Step 9. Add your loop and bow.

Step 10. Using a white gel pen add some snow over the distressed Oxide sky.

Step 11. Add Stickles to all the ‘snow’ areas.
