Concord and 9th Rainbow Turnabout Card

Posted by Kate on

Step 1: I started out setting up the Concord and 9th Rainbow Turnabout stamp in my Misti Stamping tool. A hint to get great results is to cut your cardstock (here I used Bristol Smooth) to 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches--it allows for better stamping and rotating (and then you have a larger piece to use on another card!) And definitely use a Concord and 9th Turnabout jig--it's a game changer in Turnabout success!

Step 2: I stamped each turn in yellow, turquoise, green and red.

Step 3: Trim the turnabout piece to A2 card size.

Step 4: I embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder on turquoise cardstock and die cut it with the included large cloud die cut.

Step 5: My favorite die cut in the set is the sunburst and I cut the sun from Doodblebug Designs yellow glitter paper.

Step 6: Use foam tape to pop up the cloud and tuck the glittered sun behind the cloud. I also added a few blue rhinestones for some extra sparkle.

Step 7: You can also create the same card in pastel using different inks (light blue, light yellow, pink and lavender)
