Gnome One Like You Slimline card

Posted by Beata June on

Instructions:

Step 1: First, I stamped the gnome, gnome house, flowers and mushrooms from the My Favorite Things Hanging with My Gnomies clear stamp set using a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad and my Misti Stamping Tool, colored my stamped images with various copic markers, and cut them out.

Step 2: Next, I cut out a slimline panel from white cardstock using the rectangle slimline die from the Lawn Fawn Lawn Cuts Small Slimline with Lift the Flaps die.

Step 3: I blended Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink onto the white slimline panel I cut out using a Picket Fence Studios LIfe Changing Blender brush.

Step 4: Then, I cut out another slimline panel from green cardstock using the rectangle slimline die from the Lawn Fawn Lawn Cuts Small Slimline with Lift the Flaps die, and used that green panel to cut out a grass panel and a hillside panel (using dies from the Trinity stamps scenic border set). Then I blended Mowed Lawn and Forest Moss distress oxide ink onto the grass and hillside panels using my Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brushes.

Step 5: I splattered water and blue acrylic paint onto my blended card panels.

Step 6: Then, I used a Lawn Fawn glue tube to glue my hillside and grass panels on top of my blue rectangle slimline panel, and then glued that onto my white card base.

Step 7: I glued my colored images on top of the grass and hillside panels using a Lawn Fawn glue tube.

Step 8: To finish my card, I stamped the "There's Gnome One Like You" sentiment from the My Favorite Things Hanging with My Gnomies clear stamp set onto black cardstock using a VersaMark Watermark Stamp pad, used my heating tool to emboss the sentiment with white embossing powder, and cut it out. Then I glued my heat embossed sentiment piece onto my card using a Lawn Fawn glue tube.

Thanks for following along on how I made this "Gnome One LIke You" slimline card. You can find this cute mftstamps stamp set, the Lawn Fawn slimline dies, and other supplies over at the scrapbookpal.com shop.
