"Have a Wild Birthday" Slimline Card

Posted by Ashley Young on

I cut a piece of white cardstock using a stitched slimline die, and I blended the background with Distress Oxide inks in Crackling CampfireCarved Pumpkin and Fossilized Amber.

For the ground, I also cut a piece of white cardstock with a stitched slimline die as well as a stitched slimline hillside border die, and blended it with Distress Oxide ink in Vintage Photo.

I stamped out some images from Lawn Fawn's stamp sets Wild For You and Critters in the Jungle in My Favorite Things Extreme Black ink onto Neenah Solar White cardstock. I coloured in all of the images with Copic markers, adding some touches of highlight with a white gel pen.

I stamped the sentiment "Have a wild birthday" from the Wild For You stamp set in Versamark black ink directly onto the ground panel.

I glued down the background pieces onto a slimline card base using liquid glue, and adhered all of the images onto it using a mixture of foam squares and liquid glue.

Finally, I adhered some tan-colored sequins throughout the panel with liquid glue.
