Lawn Fawn Flower Birthday Card by Kay

Posted by Kay Norman on

Cut out a stitched rectangle patterned paper piece from the Lawn Fawn Petite Paper pack and adhere to your white card base with Scrappy Tape.

From the blue polka dot paper also in this paper pack cut out the flower and the center from yellow cardstock.

Cut out the leaves with the green polka dot paper and green cardstock. I inked the edges with Mowed Lawn Oxide ink and a dauber. It will give you a green thumb. :) With the Peacock Feathers ink I inked the edges of the flower. You can see below how that makes the flower stand out more.

Adhere the flower with 3D foam squares to the patterned paper rectangle and card base. Adhere the leaves: some with glue and some with thin foam squares for depth.

Stamp your sentiment on the smallest wavy banner and adhere to the card with the 3D foam squares.

Use the white gel pen to add some detailing to the center of the flower and the leaves.
