Lawn Fawn Summer Magic Iris Card

Posted by Leeds Craftroom on

Hello friends!! Welcome! It's Leeds from Leeds Craftroom. Today, I'm sharing a cool and fun Lawn Fawn Summer Magic Iris Card. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Stamp all the critters and other images from Lawn Fawn Life is Good and On The Beach using Memento ink pad.

Step 2: Color each image with Copic markers. For the fox, I used Y17,YR04,YR07. For the trees, I used E33, E35, G05, YG06, YG67. For the sand castle, I used E21, E33. For the lighthouse, I used R14, R27, R59, Y02, Y08, C3, C5.

Step 3: Fussy cut each image using EK Success Cutter Bee Scissors.

Step 4: Use the Lawn Fawn Magic Iris add-on and then also cut a 4"x6" white paper to use as a card base (behind the magic iris add-on die cut).

Step 5: Put the magic iris add-on die cut in the center of the card base and use low tack tape to hold it in place.

Step 6: Create the background using Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Squeeze Lemonade, Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean, and Tumbled Glass.

Step 7: Cut three rings, three sausages, three stabilizer and one pull tab piece from Lawn Magic Magic Iris. Take one of the rings and then put the flux capacitor piece in the middle and run it through the Sizzix big shot machine. There are three open slots and three guidelines on the ring, slide the sausages on each slot.

Step 8: There's an X mark on each sausages, put one mini glue dots 3/16" to each of the X marks. Make sure the ring and sausages are perfectly lined. Hold it down, take the second ring and line it up and push down those three spots with the glue dots. Flip the card, put some tape on each of the guidelines, and put the stabilizer. Flip the card over again and stick the pull tab next to one of the stabilizers. Take the third ring and just set it on top. Add more adhesive to those three stabilizers and then fold over around the third ring. Now I've got my working magic iris die.

Step 9: Add some adhesives to the top of the magic iris and then line it up with the card.

Step 10: Add some foam squares to the back of the card.

Step 11: Assemble the card using Scrappy Tape and Lawn Fawn Glue Tube.

Thank you for checking out this post! Hope you all have a lovely day!
