Sending Spring Hedgehugs by Amanda

Posted by Amanda Willett-Snider on

Step 1: To start, stamp the images, and then color and cut them out.

Step 2: Make background pieces using white cardstock and die cuts. The die sets I used are the Small Dotted Rectangle Stackables, and Stitched Hillside Borders.

Step 3: Ink the background using blending tools. For the grass, I used Distress Oxide/Ink colors Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint. For the sky, I used Distress Oxide color Tumbled Glass.

Step 4: Assemble the hillside to the dotted rectangle stackable. Then matte the scene on different patterned or colored paper. Attach pieces to the card face. Now the scene is ready for the colored images to go on.

Step 5: Stamp the sentiment in Distress Oxide color Picked Raspberry. Fussy cut the sentiment and glue it to the scene. For my adhesives, I used Lawn Fawn glue tube and tape runner.

Step 6: Add highlights as last touches using a white gel pen.
