Smiling Flower Cards by Kay

Posted by Kay Norman on

These are so fun to make!

Step 1: Use the largest stitched rectangle die to cut out your background piece from the Lawn Fawn Petite Paper Pack – Spring.

Step 2: Adhere to your white card base with Scrappy Tape.

Step 3: Cut out a white stitched rectangle that is smaller than the first – allowing a border to show.

Step 4: Cut out your flower pieces and adhere with Scrappy Tape. I used the glue to adhere the little smiley faces.

Step 5: Cut out the leaves and grass and the smallest wavy border. Cutting out multiple colors allows you to create multiple cards like I have below.

Step 6: You can mix sentiments and colors and create a whole garden of cards smiling back at you.

Step 7: I used the Thin 3D foam squares to adhere the white rectangle to the card background. I also used them to adhere the flower and the sentiment banner. The grass, stem, leaves and faces I just used the Lawn Fawn Glue tube.

If you don’t have a grass die you can leave it off like I did on the pink card. Either way they turn out cute.
