Spellbinders Oval Floral Vine Anniversary Card

Posted by Berina on

Hello everyone!! My name is Berina and I'm here to share this quick and simple yet elegant card today. It's been a cold month here, I'm so ready for Spring now!! So I've made this card with cute and lovely flowers. I love this die set from Spellbinders and it's one of my all-time favorites!

Let's start with the die cutting. I die cut the oval lattice on a light violet card stock.

I die cut the floral vine in white card stock. I will later color this piece with my copics. I die cut few flowers using the flower dies in 2 different shades of purple.

Now I colored the floral vine with my copics. For the leaves I used G99YG67YG63 and YG03 to give a bit of shading. For the flowers, I used V15 for the light violet ones and V09 for the dark ones - no shading there as I will be adding layers. I shaped the die cut flowers a little bit and added them on to the floral vine die cut. Here's a close up of the floral vine with the flowers.

I adhered the oval lattice on to an A2 card base with glue. I use liquid glue for adhering die cuts. It works well for such intricate pieces also. I then adhered the completed floral vine. Now what's missing is the sentiment. I have this old JustRite stamp set which I love - I used the Happy Anniversary sentiment from the set and stamped it with Memento Lulu Lavender ink. I cut the sentiment in to a banner and adhered it to the card.

That's it! Such a quick and easy card to make.

Please do let me know what you think! Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great day.
