Waving Hello Card by Alexandra

Posted by Alexandra Iuhas on

Hi everyone!

Alexandra here from @madebyalexandra and wanted to stop by and share with you a fun and easy card inspired by the beautiful skies that we see in summer. While I pretty much stick to regular size cards, this time I decided to create a slim card since it gives more space to arrange and add plenty images.

I started by inking the panel first using Simon Says stamp High dive ink, Distress ink Worn lipstick, and Distress ink Squeezed Lemonade. Once the inks were dried I used Lawn Fawn Puffy clouds border to create a stencil and inked some clouds using Lawn Fawn Yeti ink.

Next step is to color various images from Lawn Fawn Mermaid for you stamp set and Lawn Fawn You are sublime set using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and adhere them to the panel. To add a bit of interest I also added a piece of vellum on the bottom part of the card and some of the images are behind and some are in front of the vellum.

By doing so we create variation on a quiet flat card , since we adhered the images using liquid glue

Last but not least I've stamped the sentiment from Mermaid for you stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink , and that's it! My card is done!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you like my card and maybe will inspire you to create different card sizes too !

Have a lovely day

Alexandra
