Your Heart Is My Treasure Card by Jennifer

Posted by Jennifer Hartsgrove on

I used Lawn Fawn's Ahoy, Matey stamp set for the main focus of my card. I stamped the images onto Neenah Solar White 110 lb Cardstock using Lawn Fawndamentals Jet Black Ink. Then I colored using Copic markers.

Treasure Chest: E21, E23, E27, YR21, YR24, and YR 27.

Girl Pirate: R20, R22, R05, R29 (dress), E00, E01, E11 (skin tone), YR24, E23, E27 (hair), C3, C6 (shoes).

Boy Pirate: R05, R29 (vest), B45, B41 (pants), Y00, Y02 (shirt), E23, E34 (hair and wooden leg), C4, C6, C8, C00 (hat).

Bird: Y38, YR16 (beak), G00, G02 (body).

Next, I cut out my images using the coordinating dies. For the background of my scene, I wanted a romantic beach sunset. I achieved this with Distress Oxide inks: Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, and Tattered Rose. I blended the inks until I was satisfied with the soft background.

Then I used Lawn Fawn's Palm Tree Border die set, on some of my scrap pieces of Bazzill Cardstock in brown and green. I assembled the palms onto the tree base, and cut the sand from a piece of Bazzill kraft cardstock.

I used the largest die from the Spellbinders Nestabilities - A2 Matting Basics A set to cut out all the layers of my card. I cut the heart from Lawn Fawn's How You Bean Heart Add-On.

Then I assembled my scene with all my elements. I used Honey Bee Stamps sets Kindness and Thanks & Giving to create my own sentiment "Your Heart is my". The "Treasure" was from Lawn Fawn's Ahoy, Matey set. I cut the base for my card from solar white cardstock, and adhered my card front to the base. Finally, I added a sentiment and a few hearts to the inside of my card from How You Bean Heart Add-On.
