Flower Shaker Birthday Card by Kay

Posted by Kay Norman on

First cut out your Stitched Rectangle from Guava cardstock and adhere to your white card base with Scrappy Tape.

Then cut out 2 flowers: one from the Guava cardstock and one from the pink patterned paper in your Petite Paper pack.

Cut out 4 leaves from the green patterned paper. Ink the leaves with Mowed Lawn Oxide ink and a dauber if desired.

Cut one yellow center – adhere this to the pink cardstock flower with Scrappy Tape

To assemble your shaker flower – adhere a piece of acetate that is slightly larger than the center of your flower with glue to the backside of your patterned paper flower as shown below.

Then apply thin strips of foam tape around the backside of the flower making sure there are now gaps so your sequins stay in.

Add your sequins and place your pink cardstock flower on top with the petals off set.

Press firmly

Adhere the flower and leaves to your card base and few random sequins with your glue.

Stamp Happy Birthday to the smallest wavy banner cut from white cardstock.

Adhere to the top of the flower with thin foam squares
