Happy Dance Flip Card

Posted by Amanda Wilcox on

Hello everyone. I have a hard time choosing which images to use from some of these fabulous stamp sets so I end up using everything or making multiple projects. Today my remedy for not wanting to choose was creating a super fun Flippin' Awesome interactive card with the MFT Stamps Polar Opposites critters.

I planned out each panel, stamped and colored my images with my Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. Then I pulled out the Lawn Fawn Flippin' Awesome dies and Add-on dies and cut all of my components for that. I cut a second set of the scene panel - one blue and one white - then used the stitched hillside borders to make some snow banks.

I used a combination of liquid glue and tape runner to adhere all of the scene panels together and switched gears to finish my card front so I could attach my Flippin' Awesome mechanism.

I cut a stitched rectangle from blue cardstock and stamped the snow image from Polar Opposites all over the edges since that's all that would show. I added it to a white card base. I added foam tape to the back of the add-on panel and attached it. Then I used Scrappy Tape to adhere my Flippin' Awesome mechanism to that.

This card is so much fun to play with! I hope you found a little inspiration to create something wonderful today.

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!
