Hip hip hooray, it's a MFT stamps parade!

Hip, hip, hooray! It's an mftstamps parade! Hi crafty friends! It's Beata June here, and I'm excited to share how to make this fun slimline celebration card.

Step 1: I stamped the cute critters from the My Favorite Things Hooray Kind of Day stamp set and My Favorite Things Pawty Time stamp set onto white cardstock using a Gina K Obsidian Amalgam Ink pad and my Misti stamping tool. Then I colored the critters with copic markers, and cut them out with my Tim Holtz Kushgrip Non-Stick Micro Serrated Scissors.

Step 2: I cut out my slimline panel from white cardstock using the largest diagonal stitched rectangle from the Pinkfresh Studio Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles dies set. Then I cut out two more panels from blue and green cardstock using the next largest rectangle die from the Pinkfresh Studio Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles dies set.

Step 3: I took the rectangle panel I cut out from green cardstock and made a grassy hillside using the Lawn Fawn Simple Stitched Hillside Borders Lawn Cuts set. I blended Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink around the edges of my grassy hillside using a Picket Fence Life Changing Blender Brush. Then I splattered the grassy hillside with paint.

Step 4: Next, I took the rectangle panel I cut out from blue cardstock, blended the edges with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink using a Picket Fence Life Changing Blender brush, and then splattered it with blue, white, and pink paint. After the paint dried, I glued my grassy hillside on top of my blue rectangle panel using a Lawn Fawn glue tube.

Step 5: I glued my grass and sky panels onto a piece of black cardstock using a Lawn Fawn glue tube, and cut the black cardstock to leave a thin black border around the edges. Then I glued that onto my diagonal stitched rectangle slimline panel using a Lawn Fawn glue tube.

Step 5: I glued my colored critters onto my slimline panel using a Lawn Fawn glue tube.

Step 6: I stamped the "Hip, hip, hooray!" sentiment from the My Favorite Things Hooray Kind of Day stamp set onto the flag using a Gina K Obsidian Amalgam ink pad.

I love these adorable mftstamps critters illustrated by Stacey Yacula. They made the cutest little celebration parade for my slimline card! You can find the stamps, dies and all the rest of the supplies I used to make this card over at the scrapbookpal.com shop.

Crafty Hugs, Beata June.
