Hi crafty friends! It's Beata June here, and I'm excited to share how to make this clean and simple outer space card using some adorable My Favorite Things Stamps!
Step 1: First, I stamped the critters, stars and moon from the My Favorite Things Blastoff Buddies clear stamp set onto white cardstock using a Gina K Obsidian Amalgam Ink pad and my Misti stamping tool, and colored my stamped images with copic markers, cut them out and set them aside.
Step 2: I took my A2 card base and taped off a square in the middle of my card base using iCraft Purple Tape. This tape is awesome because it is super low tack and doesn't damage your cardstock when you remove it. Then I used my Picket Fence Life Changing Blender Brushes to blend Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink and Wilted Violent Distress Oxide Ink over the inside square I made with my purple tape to match the pink and purple colors I used to color my images.
Step 3: After I blended my distress oxide inks to make a blended purple and pink square, I carefully removed the iCraft Purple Tape. Then I glued on my colored images around the blended square using a Lawn Fawn glue tube to make a little outer space scene.
Step 4: I stamped on the "3, 2, 1...Launching the Best Day Ever" sentiment from the My Favorite Things Best Friends In the Universe clear stamp set using my Misti and a Gina K Obsidian Amalgam ink pad.
Step 5: Lastly, I added white highlights to my colored images. Here's another look at my finished card.
