Lawn Fawn Flamingo Card by Deneen

Posted by Deneen on

When I saw the new Swan Soiree stamps from Lawn Fawn I instantly had the idea of turning one of the baby swans into a baby flamingo. I really had fun creating this card and hope you enjoy it. If you’d like to make this card, I have included the directions for you and I’d love it if you would tag me on Instagram if you try it out or if you try altering a stamp like I have done with the baby. You can find me on Instagram @Deneen03.

Thank you and Happy Crafting!

Directions:

Cut the largest circle from the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Circle Stackables from 80 lb Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock.

Stamp the Flamingos and baby swan with copic friendly ink onto your circle as well as some masking paper.

Cut out masks and adhere to your images.

Stamp the pond from the Swan Soiree stamp set.

Ink blend the clouds using a cloud stencil and Tumbled Glass distress ink.

Ink blend the ground using Gathered Twigs distress ink.

Take off the masks and color the flamingos with copic markers.

For the baby use a copic multi liner to add legs and scallops on the wing.

Stamp and color some of the grass and cattails from the Swan Soiree stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Attach your die cut grass and cattails to the circle and trim off any part that is hanging off the circle.

Using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Circle Stackables die cut one that will fit behind your circle scene using Guava cardstock.

Die cut a piece of patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow paper using the largest rectangle from the Large Stitched Rectangles and adhered it to an A2 card base.

Put foam tape on the back of the scalloped circle and adhered near the top of your card base.

Stamp and embossed your sentiment on black cardstock using Lawn Fawn’s white embossing powder and cut into a strip.

Add foam tape behind your sentiment strip and adhere below your scene
