Llama Talk by Kimberly

Posted by Kimberly Lukrich on

I got inspired by a Lawn Fawn post to make my own version of this adorable Llama card. I loved making it so much, I made another one. Enjoy!

Step 1-For base background, using Recollection Cardstock Paper, die cut Lawn Fawn Die "Stitched Rectangle" (size 5.5 x 4.25 inches), adhere* with "My Favorite Things Die-Namics "Rectangle Scalloped Edge Frame" (size 4 x 5-1/4), and adhere* Lawn Fawn Die Small Cross Stitched Rectangle Stackable (size 4" x 2 3/4")

Step 2- For the top base, using Recollection Cardstock Paper, die cut Lawn Fawn Cut "Small Cross Stitched Circle" (size 3 1/2), die cut Lawn Fawn Die Hillside Border and adhere* to small cross stitched circle. (Layer 2 hillside borders on one of small cross stitched circle die cut to give a layered look if desired). Do Not adhere to base layer until last step.

Step 3-Using Lawn Fawn Ink Pads "noble fir, "freshly cut grass", and "guava", I stamped out Lawn Fawn Stamp Set “I’m Stuck on you” using tall cactus image, round cactus, star flower, and the tiny succulent image. Die cut images using the coordinating dies and adhere* to small cross stitched circle die cut where desired.

Step 4- Using Neenah Classic Crest Super Smooth Solar White Paper #80 and Lawn Fawn "Jet Black" ink, stamp out Lawn Fawn "Llama Tell You" images. Color images with Copic markers as desired and die cut images with coordinating dies, "Llama Tell You". For dimension on llama, add foam squares to back of llama and adhere* to desired area onto the circle die.

Step 5- For dimension on the cross stitched circle cardstock, add foam squares on back and adhere where desired onto top of base panel. Stamp out sentiments from Lawn Fawn "Llama Tell You" stamp set using Lawn Fawn ink pad "juice box" onto base card where desired.

Step 6- Adhere main base panel to an A2 card base and card is finished

*Used TomBow Dispenser Mono Adhesive and Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue
