Lost Without You Slimline Card

Posted by Beata June on

Instructions:

Step 1: I used a Tuxedo Black Tsukineko Memento ink pad to stamp the car, driving critter and bear with map from the Lawn Fawn Car Critters stamp set using my Misti Stamping Tool. I colored those images with various copics and cut them out.

Step 2: I cut out some grass from dark green cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Grassy Hillside Pop-Up Add-On die (I love this die because you can use it to make all sorts of cards, in addition to pop-up cards!), and glued it onto some light blue cardstock using a Lawn Fawn glue tube, and then cut that into a square panel using a stitched square die.

Step 3: I used my Lawn Fawn glue tube to glue on my colored critters to peek through the front windshield of my colored car. Then I adhered the car onto my grassy square piece using some foam tape for dimension.

Step 4: I stamped a waving critter and bear with map from the Lawn Fawn Car Critters stamp set and a small and large sailboat from the Lawn Fawn Smooth Sailing stamp set using a Tuxedo Black Tsukineko Memento ink pad and my Misti Stamping Tool. I colored those stamped images with various copics and cut them out.

Step 5: I cut out ocean waves from blue cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Ocean Hillside Pop-Up Add-On die, glued the waves onto a piece of light blue cardstock using a Lawn Fawn glue tube, and then cut that into a square panel using a stitched square die.

Step 6: Then, I glued my colored waving critter and bear with map onto the sailboats using a Lawn Fawn glue tube. Then I used the Lawn Fawn glue tube to glue the sailboats over the ocean waves of the stitched square panel.

Step 7: Next, I stamped another waving critter and bear with map from the Lawn Fawn Car Critters stamp set, a propeller plane from the Lawn Fawn Plane and Simple stamp set, and a tiny coaster car from the Lawn Fawn Coaster Critters stamp set, using a Tuxedo Black Tsukineko Memento ink pad and my Misti Stamping Tool. I colored those stamped images with various copic markers and cut them out.

Step 8: I cut out some grass from light green cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Grassy Hillside Pop-Up Add-On die, and glued the grass onto a piece of light blue cardstock using a Lawn Fawn glue tube. Then I cut that out into a square panel using a stitched square die.

Step 9: For my next step, I used a Lawn Fawn glue tube and foam tape to adhere the colored critters, plane, and coaster car onto my light green grassy square panel.

Step 10: Next, I cut out a rectangle stitched slimline panel from white cardstock using the rectangle die from the Lawn Fawn Lawn Cuts Small Slimline with Lift the Flaps die set.

Step 11: I glued the plane/coaster car grassy square panel (slightly askew) to the bottom and top of my white rectangle slimline panel using a Lawn Fawn glue tube.

Step 12: Then I adhered the ocean sailing square panel to the middle of my card with foam tape so it was a little askew and slightly overlapping my top and bottom square panels.

Step 13: I used a Lawn Fawn glue tube to glue the rectangle slimline panel with my 3 finished square panels onto a piece of dark purple cardstock. I cut the purple cardstock, leaving a 1/8" border of purple cardstock around the white rectangle slimline panel.

Step 14: Then I glued the purple card panel onto a piece of white cardstock for my cardbase, and added a scalloped border to the cardbase.

Step 15: To finish my card, I stamped the "I'd Be Lost WIthout You" sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Car Critters stamp set onto black cardstock using a VersaMark Watermark Stamp Pad and my Misti Stamping Tool. Then I used a heating tool to emboss the sentiment with white embossing powder, cut the sentiment into two small black strips, and adhered them onto my cardbase with 1/8" Scor-Tape.

I'm so excited to be able to share how I made this Lawn Fawn slimline card! You can find the Lawn Fawn stamps and dies I used, along with other supplies, over at the scrapbookpal.com shop.
