PinkFresh Studios Floral Frames Press Plates

Posted by Carrie Rhoades on

Hello crafty friends, Carrie Rhoades here. Today I am sharing with you some cards made using new Press Plates from PinkFresh Studios. This new collection of plates is very pretty but also has a clean and simple look to them that make it easy for you to create stunning cards quickly.  Another thing that I personally love about this collection is that each and every plate has a coordinating die.

The plates I used for these cards are the  Floral Round Frame and the Floral Square Frame. I love the simplicity of the image and how nicely it presses into the paper.  The paper I used to letterpress these plates into is the Cotton Card Panels by Spellbinders, this thick and soft paper makes for great impression by all brands of press plates. I also used ink designed for the Betterpress system. When I used these tools I know I am going to get good results. The sentiments used on these cards is also a Press Plate set; Favorite Things Sentiments. The coordinating die set, cuts out each of these letterpressed sentiments.

Here you can watch the video making of these cards and see how I embossed the letterpressed sentiments.

In the making of these cards I found that using a Press Plate makes it very easy to make multiple cards at one time. You just leave the plate on the BetterPress system, ink it and press it onto another sheet. This is the case with a lot of card making supplies, consider stamping, die cutting, hot foiling or letter pressing an extra sheet or two while you have your supplies out. You can either make an extra card right then or save that piece for the next time you are needing a card and you have half the work already done.

Thank you so much for stopping by and letting me share my creations with you. I hope that you are leaving inspired and ready to create. Below you will find the list of products used to make these cards.

Happy Stamping

Carrie
